Maasai Mara - Kenya
The Maa Trust is a non-profit organization working together with community-owned wildlife conservancies in the Maasai Mara, Kenya.
They work to increase the benefits of wildlife and conservation to Maasai families so that they appreciate and contribute to the protection of wild animals on their land.
Our Mission
Wall art Romaround
We worked on this project in two separate trips into this Conservancy in Olare Orok.
Vicki alias Romaround, painted 3 murals inside this space in order to brighten this learning environment for these teenagers.
Wall art Romaround
The Maa Trust have a water tanks installation programme.
They installed 8 rainwater harvesting tanks in remote villages in the Mara.
Vicki painted 8 tanks with the help of the communities in each village.
School Mural La Zipolita
The Maa trust had just built a new school in Ngila where we painted the classrooms.
We we asked to paint their teaching lessons, accordingly with the teachers, as they have a limited selection of books for the kids.
